Key Responsibilities

• Provide scrub and circulating nursing support for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
• Manage open and endovascular procedures, transplant surgeries, and complex pancreatic cases.
• Float within the service line to meet facility needs and support patient care.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain high standards of safety and patient outcomes.
• Assist in maintaining operating room readiness and ensuring sterile procedures are followed.
• Support patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of circulator experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery.
• Scrub experience required for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pending or active RN license in the state of Missouri.
• Ability to work weekend call shifts as per the facility’s policy.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience with transplant (liver, kidney, pancreas) and Whipple procedures.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including start times from early morning to late evening.
