Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures within the Cath Lab and EP Laboratory.
• Support team members in procedures involving heart biopsies, peripheral catheterizations, and device implantations such as PPM/ICD/CRT.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to patient safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment setup and readiness, including GE and Philips systems.
• Follow float policies and assist with coverage as needed, supporting a 12-bed unit with diverse interventional cardiology procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab setting, preferably with STEMI programs, IABP, Impella, closure devices, CSI, or laser atherectomy.
• Meditech experience preferred.
• Ability to work daytime hours with guaranteed hours and call as required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in PRE/PACU, CVICU, or TAVR procedures.
• Knowledge of advanced cardiac devices like Mitraclip, WATCHMAN.
• Knowledge of EP procedures.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system.
• Experience in TAVR, Mitraclip, WATCHMAN, or EP cases is a plus.
• AIDET training preferred.
