Key Responsibilities
- Provide scrub and circulating support for cardiovascular operating room procedures, including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacements
- Maintain aseptic technique and ensure proper reprocessing of cardiovascular and thoracic instruments
- Assist with intraoperative documentation and equipment management using the EPIC charting system
- Support team during various cardiac and vascular surgeries, working closely with surgeons and staff
- Adapt to flexible shift hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and call requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of CST experience
- At least 2 years of experience in cardiac and vascular surgery
- 1 year of CVOR surgical tech experience
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma facility
- Proficiency with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
- Certification: BLS
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with complex CVOR procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement
- Knowledge of general OR operations, thoracic and vascular surgeries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
