- Full-time, temporary travel position, Days shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide postoperative care to patients recovering from surgery in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust care as needed to ensure patient stability
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth patient transitions from surgery to recovery
- Document patient status and care activities using electronic medical records
- Assist with phase I recovery procedures and discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and efficient environment for patients and staff
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 2 years PACU experience
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in pre-operative (Pre-op) care
- Familiarity with GE monitors and Meditech EMR systems
- Upbeat personality and strong interpersonal skills
