- Travel, 13-week assignment, night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to high-risk obstetric patients in the antepartum or labor and delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal well-being using fetal monitoring systems, including intermediate AWHONN standards.
- Manage high acuity cases such as preterm labor, magnesium sulfate administration, and high-risk labor scenarios.
- Document patient progress accurately using Meditech and CPIN systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal maternal and fetal outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies related to dress code, infection control, and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Active TX RN license (temporary licenses not accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in high-risk labor and delivery or antepartum units.
- Current BLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications.
- Experience managing magnesium sulfate and preterm labor cases.
- Strong understanding of high-risk obstetric patient care.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ACLS and RNCM certifications.
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR system.
- Demonstrated ability to care for high-acuity obstetric patients.
