- Full-time, Night shifts, 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced ICU/CCU patient care, including monitoring and managing complex conditions such as multi-system organ failure and acute strokes
- Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias, including management of arterial lines, PICC lines, and central lines
- Administer IV medications, including sedation, paralytics, vasoactive, and cardiac drips, adhering to protocols
- Manage ventilated patients, including ventilator setup, suctioning, and ABG interpretation
- Follow infection prevention protocols and use PPE appropriately
- Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal, wound care, and managing blood products
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU/CCU experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and CPI or VIP certifications
- Experience with FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Proficiency in blood product administration, ventilation management, and infusion titration
- Ability to handle emergency medications and procedural sedation
- Willingness to work nights and holiday shifts, with no first two weeks RTO allowed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with hypothermia protocols and Arctic Sun devices
- Knowledge of high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive ventilation management
- Familiarity with neuromonitoring, including stroke protocols and ventilator settings
- Strong understanding of infection control, isolation precautions, and PPE use
