Key Responsibilities
- Provide urgent and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess patient conditions, prioritize treatments, and document clinical information accurately
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas or ability to obtain one
- Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience in emergency care
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous ER travel nursing experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records systems
