Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Burlington, VT

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shifts, travel and local options available

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
• Float between Medical/Surgical Telemetry and Medical/Surgical units as needed.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Work every other weekend; available for bi-weekly orientation sessions.
• Cover 2 out of 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.

Required Qualifications:

• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant Nursing experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience working in teaching hospitals.
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years.
• Must be able to provide all employment history details, including facility types and bed counts.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• PCCN or orthopedic certifications are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.

• No block scheduling; consistent availability required.
• All work history gaps over 90 days should be fully explained.
• Reliable transportation strongly recommended; public transit is unavailable.
• Vehicle preparedness with all-season or snow tires during November to April is advised.
