Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for high-risk obstetrics patients in a busy hospital setting.
- Circulate during cesarean section procedures, supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety.
- Monitor and document patient status accurately using the Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver culturally competent care.
- Adhere to best practices and hospital protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond to on-call needs as required, with flexibility for occasional on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in California.
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in labor and delivery or obstetrics.
- Ability to circulate during surgical procedures, specifically cesarean sections.
- Willingness to float to similar units if needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working with diverse patient populations.
- Experience in high-risk obstetrics environments.
- Comfort with Epic electronic charting system.
