Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts (4x12 upon request, rotating between units possible)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, responding promptly to changes and emergencies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic electronic charting system.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards, including patient safety and infection control.
• Assist with unit orientation and support first-time nurses as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of labor and postpartum nursing experience.
• Valid nursing license for the state of California.
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
• Willingness to work nights and provide flexible scheduling.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• AWHONN Advanced certification.
• Experience working in acute care hospital settings.
• Ability to float between units if needed.
