Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, dayshift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures to support diagnostic services.
- Assist and collaborate with other imaging technologists and physicians to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, participate in quality assurance, and maintain compliance with safety and radiation protocols.
- Adhere to organizational policies, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure safety standards related to radionuclide handling.
- Participate in ongoing education and technical improvements within scope of licensure.
- Complete documentation and logs, and follow downtime procedures for PACS and equipment malfunctions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technology certification (ARRT or NMTCB).
- State licensure: Texas (MRT), Louisiana (LRT), New Mexico (NMT).
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in high-volume clinical nuclear medicine settings.
- Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and participate in QA processes.
- Flexibility to work at different campuses or shifts as needed.
