Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, Day shifts, Weekday with Weekend rotation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy assistant services to patients in a skilled nursing facility
- Assist licensed therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment
- Support patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and document accurately
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience working in a long-term care or post-hospital rehabilitation environment
- Knowledge of elderly patient care and mobility techniques
