Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process during assigned shifts.
• Ensure safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses.
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Initiate and document protocols and standards of care, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and meet patient discharge and educational needs.
• Supervise and provide guidance to LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Active Nursing license in New Mexico or a Compact State.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from recognized organizations.
• Successful passage of a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia test (BCA).
• Minimum of 2 years current experience in an 18+ bed telemetry or progressive care unit.
• Completed at least one 13-week travel nursing assignment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Epic EMR experience.
