Registered Nurse ICU

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to code blue calls and provide critical care interventions
• Manage invasive procedures such as Artlines and ventilators, including Bipap and cardiac monitoring
• Utilize equipment such as EPIC electronic medical record system and Pyxis pharmacy system
• Provide comprehensive patient care for ICU patients, ensuring safety and compliance with protocols
• Float to other units like Telemetry and ER/Observatory as needed, including CCU coverage
• Complete 12-24 hours of unit-specific training and orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active MN State RN license
• At least 3 years of recent ICU experience
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Experience with EPIC EMR system or other comparable EMR systems
• Ability to float to different units (Telemetry, ER, CCU)
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a 10-bed ICU environment
• Familiarity with equipment like vents and cardiac monitoring devices
• Previous employment at Sanford Health (must note if applicable with an end date at least 6 months prior to submission)
