• Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical surgical and surgical oncology patients in a 47-bed hospital unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing practice, adhering to age- and population-specific standards.
• Utilize equipment such as EMR (Epic), AccuDose, bladder scanner, Phillips monitors, and telemetry.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital protocols during patient interactions.
• Complete orientation and unit-specific training, including lead center training and precepted shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Active ND or Compact RN license (state must be specified in comments).
• Minimum of 1 year recent medical-surgical experience.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred).
• Experience in a hospital setting with at least 200 beds, level 2 or higher trauma center.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with surgical oncology patients is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with telemetry and working in larger hospital environments.

Additional Notes

• Local travel rate applies to candidates living within 80 miles of the facility; rates are reduced by $8/hour for those living 60-80 miles.
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility and wear navy blue scrubs.
• Prior employment with Sanford Health must be disclosed, with an end date at least six months before submission if previously employed.
• Floating to other med-surg units on any campus is required, with the home unit being 5SE.
