Full-time, night shift (3x12-hour nights, 7 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a busy ER setting
  • Monitor and assess patients, prioritize care based on acuity, and implement treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow and safety
  • Document patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health records
  • Manage emergency situations and respond promptly to critical needs

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency room nursing
  • Valid RN license in South Carolina or multi-state/compact license
  • American Heart Association (AHA) certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC
  • Ability to work night shifts and with a 4:1 patient ratio in ED
  • Willingness to work every other weekend and participate in on-call rotations is not required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Previous experience working in trauma level settings (not required)
  • Comfort working in a new, fast-paced emergency facility with advanced technology
  • Ability to float within scope to similar units if needed (not required)

Notes

  • Locals within 60 miles are encouraged to apply; on a case-by-case basis, local candidates may be eligible at a reduced rate
  • Guaranteed hours, with allowance for one call-off every two weeks
  • RTO (time off) requests must be included at submission and approved accordingly
  • Scrubs are to be solid royal blue or white tops with royal blue bottoms
  • Charting will be completed in EPIC
