Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Johns Island, SC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours, 7 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, stand-alone ER setting
• Monitor and respond to patient needs, ensuring safety and comfort
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive emergency services
• Document patient assessments and interventions using EPIC charting system
• Handle diverse emergency cases with professionalism and efficiency
• Adhere to facility protocols and standards of care

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
• Valid RN license for South Carolina or multi-state/compact license
• American Heart Association (AHA) certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Ability to work 7 PM – 7:30 AM night shifts
• Willingness to float within scope if required

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience in standalone emergency departments or trauma settings
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations
• Flexibility to accommodate potential block scheduling (approval needed)

Note: Local candidates within a 60-mile radius accepted on a case-by-case basis at a reduced bill rate. All requested time-off (RTO) must be included at application submission. The facility allows one shift off every two weeks. No on-call required. Guaranteed hours are provided, with potential for call-offs based on patient volume.
