Key Responsibilities
- Operate multi-modality imaging equipment, including CT and X-ray, to produce quality images for diagnosis.
- Effectively explain procedures to patients, ensuring their understanding and comfort.
- Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
- Adhere to safety and radiation protocols, maintaining compliance with all regulations.
- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver excellent patient care across modalities.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the hospital’s EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT registration in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (C).
- Certified by SCRQSA.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- Two years of relevant imaging experience.
- Radiation badge provided by agency; hospital does not supply badges.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with emergency, trauma, pediatric, and orthopedic imaging.
- Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment, EPIC, and PACS systems.
- Prior work in a teaching or Level I trauma hospital setting.

Additional Notes
- Shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, with every 3rd weekend requirement.
- On-call is required.
- Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis with a 10% reduction in bill rate.
- Travel radius: 60 miles.
- Guaranteed hours with the facility allowing one call-off per two weeks.
- Parking is available for nights and weekends at a one-time cost of $20.
- Hurricane season (June-November) may require emergency response assignments.
