- Full-time, Nights (3X12s, 7PM-7:30AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and perform quality imaging using CT and X-ray modalities
- Effectively explain procedures to patients and ensure patient comfort and understanding
- Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners
- Adhere to all safety and radiation protocols, including badge management
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
- Registered in both Radiography (ARRT R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT C)
- Certification with SCRQSA
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- 2+ years of recent experience in CT and X-ray modalities
- Ability to work the scheduled nights and every third weekend
- Must be able to be on-call as needed
- Radiation badge provided by agency (MUSC does NOT provide badges)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in emergency, trauma, pediatrics, or orthopedic imaging
- Familiarity with Siemens equipment, EPIC, and PACS systems
- Ability to float within scope to similar units as needed
