Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology (EP) lab.
• Assist with coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias.
• Support the care of patients receiving procedures such as permanent pacemakers.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic charting system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab setting.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and Fluoroscopy Permit (pending permits accepted with prior application).
• Ability to work a weekend schedule, call duty, and accommodate a block schedule if needed.
• Open to first-time radiology nurses with relevant experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Knowledge of coronary, peripheral vascular, and cardiac arrhythmia procedures.
• Experience with permanent pacemaker care.
• Flexibility to float within the department.
• Willingness to consider candidates with pending fluoro permits if already applied for the permit.
