Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a telemetry and medical-surgical setting.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias; manage arrhythmias and respond to emergency situations.
• Administer IV therapies, including blood products, and manage central lines and PICC lines.
• Perform post-procedure care for cardiac procedures such as angiograms and surgeries.
• Support respiratory needs, including ventilated patient care, chest tube management, and non-invasive airway support.
• Follow Heparin protocols and manage cardiac drips and vasoactive medications as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years of telemetry and med-surg nursing.
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Strong skills in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, IV therapy, and medication management.
• Experience with respiratory support and chest tube management.
• Must be able to work in a telemetry setting with a patient ratio of 1:5.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-cardiac cath procedures, MIs, and cardiac surgeries.
• Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring.
• Ability to manage vasoactive and cardiac drips without titration.
• Previous experience working with adolescent to geriatric patient populations.
