Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures
- Float between multiple units including OR, Critical Care, Emergency Department, PACU, and Maternal/Child units as needed
- Assist in maintaining a sterile environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot DaVinci XI Robot equipment during surgeries
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Support on-call duties, including approximately one day per week and one weekend every six weeks
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–3 years of OR nursing experience
- Certification and proficiency in specialties such as orthopedics (including totals, spine, trauma), urology, GYN, uro-GYN, vascular, general surgery, neuro spine, and ENT
- Experience operating DaVinci XI Robot
- Ability to work confidently across multiple surgical specialties
- Must be flexible to float between units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, acute care environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
