Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Full-time, 13- to 26-week contract, nights shift (18:45 - 07:15)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including telemetry monitoring and IV starts
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Utilize hospital systems such as Epic and Pyxis for medication administration and documentation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in unit-based staffing and self-scheduling
- Float to various medical/surgical floors as needed, working within assigned ratios
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a hospital setting
- Valid RN license
- Experience with IV starts and telemetry monitoring
- Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start
- Knowledge of hospital systems like Epic and Pyxis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS and NIH certification preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience highly desirable
- Experience in fast-paced medical-surgical units
