Schedule / Job Type
- Night shift, 3 twelve-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry setting on night shift.
- Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms accurately.
- Complete assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient status according to protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards during all procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- Valid Ohio license or Compact State license in hand.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current at start; NIH required to obtain prior to start).
- Epic electronic health record experience.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (acceptable scores required).
- One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous tele/Med Surg RN experience in hospital setting.
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
