Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students with IEPs, focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals.
• Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders and determine eligibility for services.
• Collaborate with IEP team members to develop, implement, and review therapy goals.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy into daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid New York State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working with adolescents in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with diverse student populations, including English Language Learners and students with disabilities.
• Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) models and data-driven decision-making.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
