Registered Nurse - PACU
Location: Canton, Georgia
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Nights shift, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide post-anesthesia care and recovery services to patients in the PACU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and recovery status, ensuring safety and effectiveness of care.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to deliver seamless patient recovery experiences.
• Document patient care activities and recovery progress accurately and promptly.
• Follow all hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU or recovery room experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) is preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with post-operative or recovery patients in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to extended recovery procedures.

Note: Candidates must be available to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve). Local candidates within 50 miles are not considered.
