- Full-time, Night shifts, 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit, specializing in acute gastrointestinal procedures
- Manage post-operative surgical care, including pain management and recovery support
- Assist with laparoscopic procedures such as appendectomies and cholecystectomies, as well as colorectal surgeries and hysterectomies
- Monitor and support patients undergoing cystoscopy and other diagnostic procedures
- Document patient progress and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical or specialty unit
- Current BLS certification and NIH Stroke Certification
- Must have valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia
- Certification in Cerner electronic health records system
- Must be willing to work night shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification is a plus
- Experience handling post-op pain management and laparoscopic surgeries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Additional Notes
Candidates must be located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered.
Applicants are required to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).
