Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cardio-thoracic surgical procedures within a dedicated CVOR unit.
- Scrub independently for open heart surgeries, valve repairs, and lung surgeries.
- Maintain sterile techniques and support the surgical team during complex cardiovascular procedures.
- Provide optimal patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure smooth operation of the OR and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of perioperative experience, specifically in cardio-thoracic surgery.
- Ability to scrub independently for open heart surgeries, valves, and lung procedures.
- Experience with CABG procedures.
- Valid state license in good standing.
- BLS certification required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a specialized CVOR unit.
- Knowledge of open-heart surgical techniques, valve repairs, and lung procedures.
- Familiarity with hospital OR protocols and sterile techniques.
