Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to emergencies promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently
• Support floating to various units as needed, based on hospital needs
Required Qualifications
• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License
• BSN or Associate degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI/AVADE/Calm
• Epic system experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in high-acuity or trauma settings
• Ability to adapt to floating across different units, including respiratory and COVID support

Additional Notes
• No holiday RTO requests accepted
• Certification requirements must be obtained prior to contract start; licenses do not need to be in hand at application
• Must be available to work every other weekend
• Flexible shift hours: 17:00-05:30 or 19:00-07:30
• Traveler will be the first to float at hospital discretion, supporting various units including high-risk respiratory and COVID units
• Assignments may include floating between locations in Dayton and Centerville, all within proximity to the main campus
• Up to two shifts may be canceled per 13-week contract due to census fluctuations
• Agreement can be canceled with two weeks’ notice without penalty
• Travelers are not eligible for internal employee incentives
