Job Title

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized intensive care nursing for critically ill patients in various ICU units, including medical, surgical, trauma, shock, and neuro ICU.
• Hold charge nurse responsibilities and oversee patient care coordination for assigned units.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and maintain high standards of patient safety and care quality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech electronic charting system.
• Float between ICU units as needed, including potential assignments to similar units such as telemetry.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience, with charge experience preferred.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS.
• Ability to work night shifts and accommodate floating between units.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in Surgical, Trauma, Shock, or Neuro ICU is highly preferred.
• Prior charge nurse experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends as needed.
