Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, contract (48 or 36-hour options), night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for IMC, PCU, and stepdown patients in a hospital setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, manage alarms, and administer treatments as prescribed.
- Float to various units within the facility as needed, adhering to competency and certification requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records using Epic.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Active AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Active South Carolina or multistate RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 year of Epic electronic medical records experience.
- Ability to work night shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in ICU or progressive care unit (Stepdown/PCU).
- Prior experience with Prisma Health policies and procedures.
- Comfortable with floating to different units as needed.
