Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

• Aberdeen, WA

Schedule / Job Type

• 13-week contract
• Night shifts (1845-0715)
• 36 hours per week, with opportunities for extra shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units.
• Assist with patient assessments, monitoring, and education related to childbirth and postpartum recovery.
• Participate in deliveries and support patients through labor, utilizing clinical skills and patient-centered care.
• Assist in nursery care and support neonatal needs.
• Optional: perform scrub duties during procedures (not required).
• Ensure compliance with licensing and training requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Current Washington State nursing license or multi-state license with proper verifications.
• Approved 6-hour suicide prevention training.
• Verified demographics from Nursys.
• BLS and NRP certifications.
• STABLE training preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Meditech is a plus, but not required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units.
• Ability to do scrub roles during procedures (a plus).
• Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills.
