Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.), rotating weekends and holidays, float required, 3x12s

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to oncology, sickle cell, and MedSurg patients across all ages.
• Monitor and administer medications, including PCA pumps, and manage patient needs through various stages of diagnosis and end-of-life care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including compliance with pass/fail EKG exams and patient safety guidelines.
• Float between multiple healthcare campuses as needed to support staffing needs.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Oncology experience.
• Experience with MS Oncology, sickle cell crisis, and MedSurg patient care.
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4-6.
• BLS certification.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
• Knowledge of tele-interpretation and patient monitoring.
• Willingness to work night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification in chemotherapy not required but ability to administer chemo not permitted.
• Experience in pain crisis management for sickle cell patients.
