Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities.
- Assess patients' needs through evaluations and modify therapy interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on therapy exercises and strategies to promote independence.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and facility policies related to occupational therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience in providing occupational therapy services.
- Strong assessment and communication skills.
- Knowledge of current therapy techniques and practices.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
