Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care to individuals with substance use and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
- Conduct thorough admissions interviews and systematic physical assessments for new patients.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans based on assessments.
- Document patient conditions, care provided, and responses accurately and thoroughly.
- Educate patients on their treatment plans and facilitate group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) training and competency validation.
- Experience working in behavioral health settings.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in substance abuse or behavioral health units.
- Ability to work independently and handle crisis situations effectively.
- Familiarity with restraint, seclusion, and patient monitoring procedures.
