Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement physical therapy care for assigned patients.
• Gather pertinent patient data from charts and caregivers; consult with physicians as necessary.
• Conduct independent patient assessments and recognize additional needs during evaluations.
• Develop and interpret patient goals, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Reassess patient progress regularly, ensuring compliance with departmental and regulatory policies.
• Identify appropriate equipment and coordinate with patients and families regarding use.

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent.
• Valid Physical Therapy License in Texas.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 year of professional experience in physical therapy.
• Experience with orthopedic and neurological patient populations.
