Schedule / Job Type
- Travel; Weekend shift (7 AM - 7 PM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate independently during various surgical procedures in the operating room
- Assist with a broad range of surgeries, excluding transplants, utilizing standard OR equipment and advanced video systems
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other medical staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Follow unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols
- Adapt to changing schedules and technologies within a high-volume surgical environment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Ability to circulate independently in a surgical setting
- Availability for weekend shifts, including long 12-hour days
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CNOR certification
- Experience with Meditech EMR system
- Ability to scrub in on procedures
- Friendly and adaptable personality suited for a dynamic healthcare environment
