Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel contract (13 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other oncologic treatments to patients
- Perform central line draws and manage line access
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care and procedures accurately in electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families about treatments and post-care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Colorado
- Chemo/Bio therapy provider card through ONS
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or BMT
- Ability to perform chemotherapy administration and central line draws
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hematology/Oncology or Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience
- Experience working with electronic medical records such as Meditech and OncoEMR
- Outgoing, personable, and compassionate personality
