• Full-time, Night shift, contract assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit, including Med Surg Oncology, Orthopedics, and Urology cases.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and telemetry data to detect and respond to cardiac and other medical emergencies.
• Assist in patient assessments, medication administration, and documentation using EPIC EMR system.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members and ancillary staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Support patients with complex needs, including those requiring IV pumps and bladder scans.
• May work in emergency or ED hold settings as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Valid New York State RN license or proof of application with applied date.
• BLS certification required.
• Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• NIHSS certification prior to start date.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CMSRN certification preferred.
• Experience working in a trauma level 2 facility.
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus.
