Registered Nurse - Oncology

Location: Asheville, NC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients on a designated surgical unit.
• Administer treatments including chemotherapy, echo, thoracentesis, and assist with occasional pelvic exams.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Support patient education and ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Document patient progress and procedures using the Cerner EMR system.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in North Carolina.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Certification or experience in chemotherapy administration.
• Experience in Oncology or Surgical units.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt.
