Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment following safety protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with medical staff to meet diagnostic needs within scope of practice.
• Adhere to all radiation safety protocols, including providing radiation badges.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification or SCRQSA (R) certification.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical X-ray experience.
• Radiation badge supplied by agency (MUSC does not provide badges).
• Valid radiology license or certification.
• Must be able to work nights and on-call rotation (3-4 days/month).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with O/C-Arm imaging.
• Previous hospital or trauma center experience.
• Ability to float within scope to other facilities on the same campus if necessary.
