Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), including post-operative cardiac surgery and medical cardiac patients.
• Manage and monitor invasive lines such as Pa lines and transvenous pacing systems.
• Assist with advanced cardiac interventions, including support with mechanical circulatory devices such as IABP and Impella.
• Float to the CVICU as needed, with orientation sessions scheduled weekly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

• MA Registered Nurse license (must be active at the time of submission).
• Strong PA line experience in cardiac care required.
• Certified in CPR (AHA) and ACLS (AHA).
• Experience with transvenous pacing and advanced cardiac support devices preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ICU environment, handling surgical or medical cardiac patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a CVICU or ICU with strong cardiac backgrounds.
• Familiarity with mechanical circulatory support equipment such as IABP and Impella.
• Experience floating between ICU units or multiple critical care areas.
