Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including assistance with line insertions, intubation, and hypothermia protocols
- Manage patients requiring CRRT / CVVHD and IABP support
- Collaborate within a team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care hospital environment
- Follow hospital protocols and maintain documentation in EPIC electronic health records
- Support float assignments within scope to IMCU and ICU units as needed
- Work every third weekend and every other holiday
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
- Valid nursing license in Illinois (pending license acceptance not eligible)
- Current ACLS, NIH, and BCLS certifications
- Ability to assist with specialized procedures such as line insertion and intubation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Magnet designated, teaching, or Level I trauma facility
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Comfort with supporting open float assignments across related units

Note: This position requires open availability for every third weekend and alternate holidays. Local candidates within 75 miles are preferred.
