Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type:

Night shift / Contract (13-16 weeks), 36 or 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical and telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage patients with GI conditions, blood loss, anemia, infections, renal issues, and post-GI surgery
• Collaborate with healthcare team using unit systems such as PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR
• Floating to other med/surg units/floors as needed
• Ensure compliance with unit protocols and procedures, including passing EKG testing prior to start

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• At least 1 year of traveler experience on complex floors
• Valid RN license
• BLS certification
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Telemetry experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR systems
• Experience working in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
