Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER setting.
- Float between units as needed based on skill set and facility requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and assist with patient stabilization.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed or pending license as a Registered Nurse in Oregon.
- No prior ER experience necessary; 1st timers are welcome to apply.
- Valid driver’s license and access to transportation are required for the assignment.
- Ability to work nights, including every other weekend and occasional back-to-back shifts.
- Flexibility to float to various units based on need.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in acute care or emergency nursing is a plus.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
