- Full-time, days shift, travel assignment, 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients on a designated unit.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Perform procedures such as PICC line removal and vascath management.
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the Meditech system.
- Assist with patient education and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or applicable state.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong assessment skills with the ability to interpret telemetry rhythms.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and handle stressful situations professionally.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous telemetry or cardiac step-down ward experience.
- Experience with Dynamaps, bedside monitoring, and advanced healthcare technology.
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
