Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient status.
- Participate in call duties as required, supporting 24/7 surgical coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Valid CPR/BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a CVOR or cardiothoracic surgery environment.
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures and protocols.
