Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing and meal setup
- Support with resident assessments and documentation using PointClickCare software
- Float between multiple floors as needed to ensure proper staffing coverage
- Collaborate with CNA staff and other team members to deliver quality patient care
- Follow standard nursing protocols for long-term care residents
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent LTC or SNF experience
- Current LVN or LPN license
- BLS certification required
- Ability to assist with ADLs, bathing, and meal preparation
- Familiarity with PointClickCare or similar electronic medical record systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a multi-floor facility and floating between units
- Previous experience in a charge nurse role (not mandatory)
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
