Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the ICU setting, including assessments, planning, and implementation of individualized care plans under physician guidance.
- Conduct patient assessments upon admission, including medical history, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes, utilizing critical care skills and equipment such as CRRT and balloon pump.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Float to Progressive Care (3N) as needed, maintaining flexibility in assignments.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including holiday and weekend coverage requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Valid RN license in the State of New Hampshire.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in ICU.
- Experience with CRRT and balloon pump procedures.
- NIHSS certification.
- Holiday and every other weekend availability.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity ICU environment.
- Strong medical terminology knowledge.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
