Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care and support to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, and respond to any complications promptly
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective delivery processes
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately in electronic health records
• Educate new mothers on postnatal care and newborn care procedures
Required Qualifications
• Valid California RN license
• ACLS, BCLS, NRP, and Advanced AWHONN certifications
• California Fire Card
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Ability to work flexible schedules and respond to patient needs promptly
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated facility
• Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system
• Ability to handle high-acuity cases in a fast-paced environment
